Accessibility statement

This statement covers petcompli.com and the PetCompli app at app-eu1.petcompli.com.

Our commitment

We want everyone who runs or inspects a pet business to be able to use PetCompli. The website and the app are designed and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What that means in practice

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link.
  • Text and interface colours meet the AA contrast ratio, and nothing relies on colour alone.
  • Pages are built with proper headings, landmarks, labels and form error messages so screen readers can follow them.
  • Text can be resized to 200% and pages reflow to a 320-pixel-wide screen without horizontal scrolling.
  • Animations respect the "reduce motion" setting, and nothing flashes.
  • Images carry alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • The site is available in English and Welsh.

Known limitations

  • Documents uploaded by customers into the app (policies, certificates) are published as supplied, so their accessibility depends on the author.
  • The printable templates are laid out for A4 paper; the same records are available as CSV for use in a spreadsheet.

Tell us about a problem

If you find something you can't use, or you need information in another format, email support@petcompli.com. We aim to reply within two working days and fix accessibility problems as a priority.

Technical information

The website is static HTML. The app is built with ASP.NET Core and Blazor and renders standard HTML. Both are checked with keyboard-only navigation and automated accessibility tooling as part of every release, and we test with screen readers before each major change.
